Suite Kernal unifies planting data, equipment exports, livestock records, greenhouse operations, and vendor relationships into one map and one database — no subscription, no cloud lock-in, your data never leaves your computer unless you choose to send it.

Full product description

Every format your equipment speaks, one map that understands all of them.

Farm equipment doesn't agree on how to describe your own fields. A planter, a sprayer, and a combine can each export operation data in a completely different format — shapefiles, ISOXML, ADAPT — and none of them talk to each other. Suite Kernal reads all three, normalizes them into one unified schema, and shows them on a single interactive map alongside your own drawn field boundaries. Upload a file, see exactly what it recorded — yield, coverage, moisture, applied rate — no format-wrangling required.

A real farm management suite, not just a map viewer.

Once your data's in one place, Suite Kernal keeps going:

  • Crops — a planting calendar with auto-generated milestones (germination, growth stages, harvest windows), a full crop reference handbook, and a greenhouse builder with a real spatial layout tool for racks, trays, and hydroponic systems.. This also include features from the Microgreens mini app found here.

  • Livestock — a full roster with pedigree tracking and inbreeding warnings, health/feed/weight/breeding records, lifecycle status locking for sold or deceased animals, and a species reference handbook.

  • Track Lines — auto-generated guidance passes for your equipment, spaced to your implement's exact width, with headland turns, obstacle avoidance, and export to GPX or ISOXML so real guidance hardware (Trimble, Ag Leader, John Deere, AgOpenGPS) can drive them.

  • Vendors & Inventory — track what you sell, what a buyer's minimum order looks like, and earmark inventory against a specific vendor relationship.

  • Voyage Analyzer — the same unification idea applied to marine telemetry, for anyone running equipment on the water too.

Your data stays yours.

Everything lives in a single local database file on your own machine — no server, no monthly fee, no company holding your farm's data hostage. Real backup and restore, built-in. Export anything back out as CSV, GeoJSON, GPX, or ISOXML whenever you want it — your data was never locked in to begin with.

Built by actually using it.

Every feature here exists because it was needed, tested against real files and real field data, and fixed when it was wrong — not shipped as a checkbox. It's still growing, with mobile companion apps in progress so the field crew doesn't need a laptop to log a planting or check a reminder.
